Frequently asked questions

What page sizes are supported?

A4, Letter, and Legal, each available in portrait or landscape. Custom dimensions and other formats such as A3 are not available in this tool.

Does this stretch or distort the content?

No. Content is scaled uniformly and centered on the new page, so it may leave even margins but never squashes or stretches the layout.

Can I resize only some pages?

No. The size you choose is applied to every page, which is the point when you are standardizing a document for printing.

Why did resizing fail on my PDF?

Pages that use crop offsets, or that carry annotations, links, or form widgets, are rejected rather than resized, because scaling them would move those elements out of place. Flatten the PDF first and try again.

Crop vs Resize — what’s the difference?

Crop changes the visible area of the page by hiding margins. Resize actually changes the physical dimensions (e.g., 8.5x11 inches to A4) of the page.

Are my files kept private?

Yes. All resizing operations happen locally on your device.
