Given an original price and percent off, it shows the sale price and how much you save. It does not apply stacking coupons or tax.
How do I work out a percent-off price by hand?
Saving = price × percent ÷ 100, and sale price = price − saving. 30% off 80 saves 24, leaving 56.
Is this a sale price calculator?
Yes. It answers “what is the price after X% off?” and how much you save versus the original.
Can I enter a discount over 100%?
No. Discounts above 100% are rejected, because a price cannot fall below zero from a single percent-off deal.
Can I stack two discounts?
Not in one step. Apply the first discount, then run the resulting price through again with the second percent — stacked offers usually compound rather than add.
Is my input uploaded?
