- Is DEG/RAD remembered?
- Mode stays for the current session on this page. It does not silently switch, so a trig result never changes meaning between calculations.
- Which functions are available?
- sin, cos, tan and their inverses (asin, acos, atan), natural log (ln) and base-10 log, square root and cube root, exponent (exp), absolute value, floor, ceil, round, factorial, powers with ^, and the constants π and e.
- What happens with an impossible input?
- Out-of-range inputs — the square root of a negative number, or asin of a value above 1 — return a readable domain error instead of NaN, so you can see which part of the expression is wrong.
- Can it graph equations or solve algebra?
- No. It evaluates numeric expressions. It is not a graphing calculator and does not solve symbolic algebra or calculus.
- Is it safe to evaluate expressions here?
- Yes. Expressions are parsed by a dedicated tokenizer and evaluator, not by JavaScript eval, and everything runs locally in your browser.
- Is my input uploaded?
- No. Calculation runs in your browser. Values are not sent to NeedAnyTool servers or analytics.
