Decimal (10), hexadecimal (16), binary (2), and octal (8), in any combination of from and to.
How large a number can it handle?
Parsing uses BigInt, so there is no 2^53 precision ceiling. Hashes, 64-bit IDs, and long bit masks convert exactly rather than being rounded.
Does it convert decimals or fractions?
No. Integers only, with an optional leading minus sign. A value such as 3.75 cannot be converted here.
Do I need a 0x or 0b prefix?
No. Enter the digits and choose the source base from the selector. Digits that are not valid for that base — a 9 in an octal value, for example — are reported as an error.
How is this different from Text → Binary?
Text Tools encodes and decodes character text as binary bytes. This tool converts numeric bases for integer values.
Is my input uploaded?
No. Conversion runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a NeedAnyTool server for these tools.
