Can I split the bill per person?
Yes. Enter the party size to see the tip, the total, each person’s full share, and each person’s share of the tip alone.
How is the tip calculated?
Tip = bill × tip percent ÷ 100, and total = bill + tip. A 20% tip on a 60 bill is 12, for a total of 72.
Is tax included in the tip base?
Enter the pre-tip amount you want to tip on (often the subtotal). The tool does not add tax automatically — include it in the bill field if that is how you tip.
What tip percentage should I use?
That depends entirely on local custom and the service, and NeedAnyTool does not recommend a figure. Set whatever percent you intend to leave and the calculator does the arithmetic.
