No. It validates and formats; it does not silently repair malformed documents. An unclosed tag or a stray ampersand is reported so you can fix the source.
What does “valid” mean here?
Well-formed: every tag is closed, nesting is correct, attributes are quoted, and reserved characters are escaped. It does not check the document against a DTD or XSD schema.
What does Minify remove?
Whitespace between tags. Text inside an element is left alone, so content is never altered — only the layout between elements changes.
Can I format HTML with this?
Only if the HTML is also well-formed XML (XHTML). Ordinary HTML with unclosed tags such as <br> will be reported as invalid — use HTML Encode / Decode for entity work instead.
Is there a size limit?
There is no fixed cap, but formatting happens in your browser tab, so very large documents are limited by your device’s memory rather than by a server quota.
Is my input uploaded?
No. Conversion runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a NeedAnyTool server for these tools.
